A refreshingly floral and zesty iced tea that brings a pop of Mediterranean color to your afternoon. Perfectly tart, lightly sweet, and caffeine-free!
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
Remove from heat and add the dried hibiscus flowers. Let them steep until the water is a deep, dark red.
The longer you steep, the more tart it becomes!
Strain the tea into a large pitcher to remove the flowers. While the liquid is still warm, stir in the honey until completely dissolved.
Add the fresh lemon juice and the rose water. Stir well to combine the floral and citrus notes.
Let the pitcher cool at room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
To serve, pour over ice cubes and garnish with a few fresh mint leaves for a burst of green against the pink.
For a really vibrant pink color, let the hibiscus steep until the water is deep ruby red. If you're feeling fancy, rim the glass with a little extra honey and crushed dried rose petals! Healthy made easy, right?
