A bright and refreshing chilled tea infused with fresh pomegranate juice, cooling mint, and a touch of honey. Perfectly balanced and family-friendly!
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot or kettle.
Use filtered water for the cleanest tea flavor!
Remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the bags and discard.
While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey until it’s completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
If you prefer it less sweet, start with 1 tablespoon of honey.
In a large glass pitcher, combine the cooled tea, pomegranate juice, and lemon slices.
Take the fresh mint leaves and give them a firm clap between your palms to release the aroma, then toss them into the pitcher.
Stir everything together and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld. Serve over plenty of ice.
Garnish with a few extra pomegranate arils for a festive look!
This is my go-to for keeping the family hydrated and happy during those long, sunny afternoons! The key is to slap the mint against your hand before adding it to the pitcher—it wakes up all those fragrant oils. If you want it even zestier, feel free to add a splash of sparkling water right before serving. It's wholesome, fresh, and looks absolutely vibrant in a glass!
